When it comes to getting your floor done, installation is a critical part. You can buy the most beautiful floor and pay thousands of dollars for it, but it is going to look as good as how you install it, so using a professional installer who has knowledge and experience is crucial. However, be careful when you select your installer. Just like in any industry, there are good, average, and bad ones. The good news is there are many ways to tell whether they are the right person for the job. A good installer will give you a proper estimate for the job, showing what they charge, their rate,and their terms and conditions. And they should be able to give you an estimate of the timeline. Never hire ones who ask for advance payment. For some bigger projects, you might be asked for a retainer and that is ok as long as the amount is reasonable. If the installer does not show up for the estimate , they might not show up at work too.
